Job summary

GGP is seeking a Facilities Technician to support Operations, safety plans, and preventative maintenance at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu. The role includes troubleshooting building systems, performing repairs, and maintaining the property to ensure a safe, clean, and inviting environment for tenants and shoppers.

Responsibilities also cover assisting with events, interacting with tenants, and upholding OSHA standards. Shift work, including evenings and weekends, may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of building maintenance experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, plans, and drawings.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• 2-year tech/trade certificate is a plus.
• OSHA 10-Hour course a plus.
• Familiar with Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on interior/exterior areas.
• Assist with inventory, records, and safety data sheets.
• Support setup of events and mall decor as needed.
• Provide custodial tasks and landscaping support as required.
