Job summary

GGP is seeking a Facilities Technician at the Fort Worth property to support the Operations Manager with preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and repair tasks across interior and exterior systems. You will operate equipment, assist with event setup, and coordinate basic custodial duties while maintaining a safe, clean, and functional environment for tenants.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years of maintenance experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2–3 years of building maintenance or related experience are required.
• Valid Driver's License is required; ability to read and interpret documents, plans and schematic drawings.
• 2-year Tech School graduate or trade certificate is a plus.
• OSHA 10-Hour course is a plus.
• Bilingual welcomed; ability to communicate clearly with management, tenants, and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems and utilities.
• Operate equipment to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs.
• Perform maintenance on interior/exterior areas including painting, drywall, plumbing, lighting, and roofing tasks.
• Assist with inventory, records, MSDS, supplies, and tools.
• Support event setups and mall decor installation/removal.
• Mop, sweep, vacuum, and basic custodial tasks as needed; assist snow removal when required.
