Job summary

GGP is seeking a Facilities Technician to assist the Operations Manager in implementing safety plans, maintaining assets, and performing preventative maintenance at the Music Factory property in TX. The role requires hands-on maintenance across building systems, light repairs, and coordination with management to uphold standards.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years in maintenance, valid driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Able to communicate clearly with management, employees, tenants and external contacts.
• Read and interpret documents, plans and drawings; follow instructions.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• 2-year tech school or trade certificate a plus.
• OSHA 10-Hour course a plus.
• Familiar with Microsoft Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain building systems.
• Operate equipment for preventative maintenance and upkeep of property.
• Perform interior/exterior maintenance including painting, plumbing, lighting, and roofing tasks.
• Maintain inventory records, materials, and tools.
• Repair/modify/move retail fixtures as needed.
• Assist in setup of events and mall decor installations.
• Perform custodial duties and landscaping as needed.
• Participate in safety and emergency planning in coordination with management.
