Job summary

The Building & Corporate Services Technician role at Diamondback Energy is a hands-on position supporting the company with building maintenance, project support, meeting preparations, and other ad hoc activities. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least one year of hands-on building maintenance, construction, or mechanical work.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, painting, drywall and related systems.
• Ability to safely operate common hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license and suitable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work at heights.
• Customer-service orientation and professional communication.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to explain maintenance needs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the work of vendors and service providers.
• Obtain materials and supplies and perform routine maintenance.
• Serve as primary contact for building maintenance inquiries.
• Assist with preventive maintenance and minor repairs including HVAC and building systems.
• Communicate with facilities management about outside vendor needs.
• Recommend facilities solutions to add value for the company.
• Create and maintain relationships with HR, Safety, and other teams.
