Based in Dallas, the role involves wiring, mechanical repairs, HVAC diagnostics, and coordinating with the Maintenance Manager to schedule tasks and respond to tenant requests.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of standard maintenance tasks, tools, and practices.
• Familiarity with safety hazards and precautions in maintenance work.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and working drawings.
• Ability to perform basic shop math and measurements.
• Ability to locate and identify problems in building systems and plan repairs.

Responsibilities

• Repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand/power tools.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep machines and systems running smoothly.
• Use tools ranging from hammers and drills to testing devices.
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, piping, machinery, or equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical problems using manuals, blueprints, and catalogs.
• Inspect or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
• Record maintenance and repair work and costs.
• Clean or lubricate machinery components.
• Operate cutting torches or welding equipment when needed.
• Install and repair HVAC units and related components.
• Respond to maintenance calls from tenants and schedule fixes.
• Report issues to the Maintenance Manager.
