Job summary

JLL is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain and improve building systems at our Wilsonville, OR site. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other mechanical systems to keep client facilities safe and efficient.

The role emphasizes hands-on tasks, safety compliance, and collaboration with vendors to deliver reliable facility operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent certification.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance or related technical field.
• Some knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work at heights, and operate in varied environments.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform small cube builds, reconfigurations, and space modifications to support changing workspace needs.
• Set up and arrange rooms for meetings, events, and training with proper furniture and equipment.
• Complete general repairs including patching, painting, ceiling tile replacement, and furniture assembly.
• Install carpet squares and perform minor cosmetic repairs to maintain professional spaces.
• Respond to work orders promptly; diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Inspect building systems and equipment regularly to identify issues early and prevent escalation.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs using CMMS.
• Coordinate repairs with external vendors and contractors.
