Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Workplace Technician in Hawthorne, CA. You will design, build, activate and maintain advanced manufacturing facilities, solving complex problems with autonomy while supporting internal customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, event setup, and site inspections. You will read blueprints, operate lifts and equipment, and ensure health and safety guidelines are followed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3+ years of experience installing modular or commercial furniture, major moves, or repair work.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance such as furniture assembly, painting, door adjustments and minor repairs.
• Assist with site setup, moving furniture, equipment and event areas.
• Read, interpret and follow blueprints and specifications.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, pallet jacks, and other lifting equipment as needed.
• Oversee projects and provide timely status updates to leadership.
• Produce service reports using MS Word/Excel and communicate findings.
