The role requires hands-on work, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, operate tools safely, and respond to facility requests; previous custodial or maintenance experience is ideal.

Velocitor Solutions is a mobility solutions software development company with an 80,000+ square foot facility that houses our Development and Project Services teams, Support Center, Warehouse, Fitness Center, Café, and multiple employee collaboration spaces.
We are seeking a dependable, self-motivated individual to serve as our primary Facilities Technician during the 3rd shift Monday through Friday. This position plays a critical role in maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our building during non-traditional business hours. The successful candidate will be a hands-on professional who enjoys a variety of work and is comfortable performing everything from repairing walls, replacing light fixtures, painting, and pressure washing to assisting with housekeeping and facility cleanup as needed.
The standard schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, consisting of four (5) eight-hour shifts with a one-hour unpaid meal break.
QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two (2) years of experience in building maintenance, facilities maintenance, custodial services, or a preferred related field.
Primary work location is the Velocitor Solutions corporate office located at 851 Blairhill Road, Charlotte, NC.
This position routinely works in office, warehouse, and outdoor environments and may be exposed to varying temperatures, dust, cleaning chemicals, loud noises, and maintenance equipment. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn when required.
Occasional overtime may be required based on business needs. Travel is not expected for this position.
