Job summary

Velocitor Solutions is seeking a dependable Facilities Technician to manage weekend operations at our Charlotte, NC facility. The role covers appearance, safety, and functionality during non-traditional hours, performing wall repairs, lighting upgrades, painting, and general upkeep.

The position runs Friday through Monday from 6:00 PM to 5:00 AM (four 10-hour shifts) with an optional five 8-hour shifts depending on needs and availability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in building maintenance or related field.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of common areas, restrooms, kitchens, conference rooms, and break areas.
• Perform general building maintenance including repairs to walls, doors, windows, flooring, lighting, plumbing fixtures.
• Replace light bulbs, ballasts, ceiling tiles, and other fixtures as needed.
• Paint, pressure wash, and complete minor carpentry projects to maintain facility appearance.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and exterior groundskeeping.
