Job summary

Corbion is seeking a Facilities Technician for the second shift (2PM - 10:30PM) at the Totowa, NJ facility. You will perform maintenance, cleaning, and basic repairs on production-related equipment, while ensuring strict GMP and safety standards.

Experience with CMMS and a teamwork mindset are essential. Responsibilities include documenting work orders, operating facility systems, and assisting in training staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years maintenance or facilities experience; food/beverage environment preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand/power tools.
• Comfortable using CMMS to track work orders.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety protocols.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Able to work in loud environments with PPE and varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean, and maintain facilities equipment.
• Perform sanitation, repairs, and basic facility upkeep.
• Operate devices like washers, compactors, and powered lifts.
• Document activities and parts usage in CMMS.
• Support training of new personnel and assist other departments.
