Kemba Credit Union is seeking a part-time Facilities Technician to maintain lease spaces, buildings, and grounds. You will perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and coordinate with outside vendors. This role requires flexible 3×8-hour shifts weekly and on-call emergency coverage.
You will travel frequently to branches across Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana, ensuring safety standards and ADA/OSHA compliance while supporting new branch setups and ongoing operations.

This position is responsible for maintaining and inspecting lease spaces, open property, buildings, equipment, utilities, furnishings, and grounds. Assumes direct responsibility for maintenance of assigned areas. Performs preventative maintenance, making minor repairs, and supervising, directing, and assisting outside service personnel and vendors as needed. Reports major repair and maintenance needs to the Facilities Manager.
This part-time position requires three 8-hour shifts per week. The days are flexible and can be tailored to accommodate individual availability and business needs.
Must be available to provide emergency 24/7-hour on-call service as required.
This position will travel frequently to address maintenance requests to all branches within the Kemba Credit Union network in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.
Education/Certification: A minimum of one of the following: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program. Valid/Unexpired driver's license required.
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of janitorial equipment and maintenace procedures. Basic understanding of blueprints and the operation of electrical, mechanical, heating, cooling, and plumbing equipment.
Experience Required: One year to three years of previous maintenance experience required. Financial institution equipment experience preferred (Drive-Thru/CCTV/Alarms/Locks).
Skills/Abilities: Good mechanical and problem solving abilities. Well organized and able to work independently. Able to coordinate well with others and assist others professionally. Attentive to detail. Able to operate drills, electrical tools, meters, timers, hand tools, and all related machinery.
