Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, seeks a Facilities Technician for first shift (5:00am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday) in Tulsa, OK. The role covers basic upkeep and repair of the facility and coordination with vendors.

Ideal candidates have 2 years of light industrial electrical and plumbing experience, and must have their own tools. Physical labor, safety awareness, and ability to work with teams are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years light industrial electrical experience.
• 2 years plumbing/sewer experience.
• Ability to read and interpret information; write clear statements.
• Must have own tools.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate power equipment.
• Overtime and weekend work as required.

Responsabilités

• Performs maintenance and repair of building and grounds, including carpentry, electrical, and plumbing.
• Provides facilities and maintenance labor and technical support to site structures, equipment and grounds.
• Works with manufacturing and process engineering using blueprints, drawings or rough sketches.
• Notifies supervisors about unsafe conditions or repairs needed.
• Concrete repair and polishing of manufacturing floors as required.
• Coordinates with outside vendors as needed.

# Facilities Technician**Facilities Technician**Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a Facilities Technician. The position will be responsible for basic upkeep and cleaning of the facility. This will be a 1st shift position - Monday thru Friday, 5 am. to 3:30pm with over time as required.**This will be a first shift position from 5:00am to 3:30pm. Monday thru Friday some weekends as required.****What you will be doing:*** Performs a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of building and grounds, including carpentry, electrical and plumbing.* Basic repairs, including carpentry, plumbing and electrical.* Provides facilities and maintenance labor and technical support to all areas of the site structure, equipment and grounds.* Works with manufacturing and process engineering utilizing blueprints, drawings or rough sketches.* Support facility/production daily scheduled and non-scheduled work order related activities.* Concrete repair and polishing of manufacturing floors as required* Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance.* Other duties as instructed by Supervisor.**The skills and experience you need:*** High school diploma/GED preferred.* 2 years of light industrial electrical experience required* 2 years of plumbing/sewer experience required* Ability to observe safety and security procedures and to comply with all company policies.* Ability to read and interpret written information; ability to write clear statements; ability to communicate orally.* Must be able to do physical labor and operate power equipment, such as forklifts and boom lifts.* Must be able to work in all weather conditions.* Ability to demonstrate professionalism.* Must be able to professionally work with outside vendors.* Must be able to manage time efficiently and to work individually as well as within a team.* Strong attention to detail and capacity to take direction.* Must have their own tools.* Ability to routinely lift up 50 pounds.* Ability to work independently as well as with a Team.* Ability to work overtime as required.This role is located in Tulsa, OK.Questions about this role?
