HOAMCO, a leader in community association management, seeks a Full-Time Facilities Technician in Sun City, AZ. You will maintain all facilities and equipment, inspect for hazards, and support daily operations with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of building/grounds maintenance; HVAC experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Experience in a residential community preferred.
• Flexible scheduling including weekdays, weekends, holidays; after-hours emergencies.
• Pool certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all facilities, equipment, and property.
• Inspect facilities and equipment for operations and hazards.
• Report problems to Facilities Manager immediately.
• Plan daily and weekly activities and set priorities.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Remain reasonably available for after-hours emergencies and occasional weekend rotation.
• Check and inspect community trails daily.
• Monitor restroom facilities and ensure cleanliness.
• Keep maintenance office, shed, and yard orderly.

Reports to: Facilities Manager and Executive Director

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of building and grounds maintenance experience and HVAC experience preferred, but not required
• Excellent problem‑solving skills
• Experience in a residential community (Preferred)
• Flexible scheduling, weekdays/weekends, holidays, etc., and response to after‑hours emergency calls
• Pool Certification is a Plus (Preferred)

Job Duties

• Maintenance Technician maintains all facilities, including but not limited to all equipment and property
• Inspect all facilities and equipment as needed for operations and any potential hazardous conditions which may or may not exist.
• Report any problems to Facilities Manager immediately.
• Work on daily and weekly plan activities.
• Assess urgency of work and recommend priority to Facilities Manager.
• Keep, maintain, mark and secure Community Property (tools).
• Reasonable availability for after hour’s emergencies to include occasional weekend rotation.
• Check and inspect all Community trails daily.
• Maintain inventory of all supplies needed for the Community as approved by the Community budget.
• Regular maintenance of facilities.
• Assesses materials needed for repair issues in advance and consolidates procurement time & travel.
• Monitor all restroom facilities and supplies.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of maintenance office, supply shed, and immediate yard area.
