HOAMCO seeks a Full-Time Facilities Technician for Ventana Lakes in Sun City, AZ. You will maintain all facilities, inspect for hazards, and coordinate repairs with the Facilities Manager and Executive Director. • Pool Certification is a Plus (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintenance Technician maintains all facilities, including equipment and property.
• Inspect facilities and equipment for operations and potential hazards.
• Report problems to Facilities Manager immediately.
• Work on daily and weekly plan activities.
• Assess urgency of work and set priorities with Facilities Manager.
• Maintain and secure community property (tools).
• Available for after-hours emergencies and occasional weekend rotation.
• Check and inspect community trails daily.
• Maintain inventory of supplies as approved by the budget.
• Perform regular maintenance of facilities.
• Assess materials needed for repairs and coordinate procurement time and travel.
• Monitor restroom facilities and supplies.
• Keep maintenance office, supply shed, and yard area orderly.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of building and grounds maintenance experience and HVAC experience preferred, but not required
• Great customer service skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience in a residential community (Preferred)
• Flexible scheduling, weekdays/weekends, holidays, etc., and response to after-hours emergency calls
• Pool Certification is a Plus (Preferred)

Job Duties

• Maintenance Technician maintains all facilities, including but not limited to all equipment and property
• Inspect all facilities and equipment as needed for operations and any potential hazardous conditions which may or may not exist.
• Report any problems to Facilities Manager immediately.
• Work on daily and weekly plan activities.
• Assess urgency of work and recommend priority to Facilities Manager.
• Keep, maintain, mark and secure Community Property (tools).
• Reasonable availability for after hour’s emergencies to include occasional weekend rotation.
• Check and inspect all Community trails daily.
• Maintain inventory of all supplies needed for the Community as approved by the Community budget.
• Regular maintenance of facilities.
• Assesses materials needed for repair issues in advance and consolidates procurement time & travel.
• Monitor all restroom facilities and supplies.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of maintenance office, supply shed, and immediate yard area.
