HOAMCO is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Facilities Technician for Ventana Lakes in Sun City, AZ. You will maintain all community facilities and equipment and respond to after-hours emergencies as needed.

This role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety inspections, inventory control, and coordination with the Facilities Manager to keep the community running smoothly. Flexibility for weekends and holidays is required; pool certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of building and grounds maintenance experience.
• HVAC experience preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience in a residential community is preferred.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
• Pool certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all facilities, including equipment and property.
• Inspects facilities and equipment for operations and hazards.
• Reports problems to the Facilities Manager immediately.
• Performs daily and weekly planned activities.
• Assesses urgency and prioritizes work with Facilities Manager.
• Keeps tools ordered and secured.
• Available for after-hours emergencies; occasional weekend rotation.
• Checks community trails daily.
• Maintains inventory of supplies per the Community budget.
• Performs regular maintenance of facilities.
• Assesses materials and coordinates procurement and travel.
• Monitors restroom facilities and supplies.
• Maintains order in maintenance office, shed, and yard.

Ventana Lakes is looking for a Full-Time Facilities Technician located in Sun City, AZ. Apply today and join our team!

Reports to: Facilities Manager and Executive Director

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of building and grounds maintenance experience and HVAC experience preferred, but not required
• Great customer service skills
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Experience in a residential community (Preferred)
• Flexible scheduling, weekdays/weekends, holidays, etc., and response to after-hours emergency calls
• Pool Certification is a Plus (Preferred)

Job Duties

• Maintenance Technician maintains all facilities, including but not limited to all equipment and property
• Inspect all facilities and equipment as needed for operations and any potential hazardous conditions which may or may not exist.
• Report any problems to Facilities Manager immediately.
• Work on daily and weekly plan activities.
• Assess urgency of work and recommend priority to Facilities Manager.
• Keep, maintain, mark and secure Community Property (tools).
• Reasonable availability for after hour’s emergencies to include occasional weekend rotation.
• Check and inspect all Community trails daily.
• Maintain inventory of all supplies needed for the Community as approved by the Community budget.
• Regular maintenance of facilities.
• Assesses materials needed for repair issues in advance and consolidates procurement time & travel.
• Monitor all restroom facilities and supplies.
• Maintain order and cleanliness of maintenance office, supply shed, and immediate yard area.
