Job summary

Coastal Medical Transportation Systems is seeking a Facilities Technician for our Quincy base. The role performs maintenance and repairs, monitors facilities, and coordinates safety inspections on-site.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of facilities maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel between CMTS locations. This is a full-time, weekday, on-site position in Quincy, MA with a competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance throughout CMTS facilities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in facility operations.
• Monitor the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of interior and exterior areas.
• Inspect facilities and identify maintenance, repair, or safety needs.
• Complete routine repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Prepare buildings and grounds for changing weather conditions and seasonal needs.
• Maintain and organize facility equipment, tools, and supplies.
• Track and document maintenance activities, projects, repairs, and related records.
• Coordinate and assist with facility and safety inspections.
• Communicate with leadership regarding facility needs, maintenance priorities, and projects.
• Work independently while maintaining communication with the Facilities Manager and leadership.
• Follow established safety procedures and applicable facility maintenance practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Coastal Medical Transportation Systems is seeking a Facilities Technician for our Quincy base! This position is responsible for performing maintenance and repairs at all buildings and grounds owned and operated by CMTS, overseeing the upkeep of equipment andsupplies, tracking and recording of projects, and coordinating safety inspections. This is a full-time weekday, on-site only position.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventive maintenance throughout CMTS facilities.

Maintain and troubleshoot equipment used in facility operations.

Monitor the cleanliness, appearance, and overall condition of interior and exterior areas.

Inspect facilities and identify maintenance, repair, or safety needs.

Complete routine repairs and maintenance as needed.

Prepare buildings and grounds for changing weather conditions and seasonal needs.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related function.
• Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management.
• Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to drive between CMTS locations as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• The ability to walk a distance of 1/4 mile without difficulty
• Ability to walk up and down stairs without difficulty
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift or carry items weighing up with 125 lbs.
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, reach, push, pull, and grasp in a variety of circumstances and positions.

The pay range for this position is $25/hr to $30/hr based on experience and qualifications.
