Pride Mobility Products Corporation in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Facility Maintenance & Cleaning Technician to perform routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs to keep the facility and grounds safe, clean, and functional.

The role is full-time, on-site, with a 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM shift and an hourly rate of $22.68. Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, light maintenance, and following safety procedures; prior maintenance experience preferred.

Qualifications

  • At least 6 months of general and preventative maintenance or related experience.
  • At least 6 months of experience troubleshooting and repairing basic electrical and plumbing issues.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize assigned areas of the facility, including restrooms, offices, conference rooms, manufacturing areas, and warehouse spaces, using manual and powered cleaning equipment.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, empty trash receptacles, and perform other assigned cleaning tasks.
  • Follow established cleaning and sanitation practices and applicable work instructions.
  • Prepare, use, store, and dispose of cleaning solutions and materials safely and as directed.
  • Maintain cleaning logs and follow Good Documentation Practices when recording completed activities.
  • Maintain an appropriate inventory of cleaning and repair supplies and keep designated storage areas neat and organized.
  • Perform routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance and repairs on facilities, manufacturing equipment, machines, and tools.
  • Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common testing equipment to inspect, diagnose, calibrate, maintain, and repair equipment.
  • Perform basic electrical work, including safely troubleshooting outlets, breakers, fuses, and electronic controls.
  • Perform basic plumbing work, including repairing or installing fixtures and locating and repairing leaks.
  • Perform basic carpentry work, including framing, installation, remodeling, and repairing damaged structures or fixtures.
  • Relocate and set up employee workspaces, equipment, and other facility items as assigned.
  • Maintain facility grounds and common areas, including lawns, flowerbeds, shrubbery, parking areas, and trash and recycling areas.
  • Promptly report facility repair needs and problems involving cleaning materials, tools, or equipment.
  • Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management.
  • Complete the Annual CTPAT Security Training.
  • Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment.
  • Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations.
  • Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times.
  • Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary.

DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
  • At least 6 months of general and preventative maintenance or related experience
  • At least 6 months of experience troubleshooting and repairing basic electrical and plumbing issues
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
  • At least 6 months of janitorial or commercial cleaning experience in a high-use manufacturing, distribution, retail, or similar facility preferred
  • At least 1 year of experience maintaining facilities and equipment using general mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or related skills in a manufacturing or distribution environment preferred
  • Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred
PREFERRED EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma or GED
