X-Bow is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Facilities Technician to be responsible for the Janitorial and Housekeeping functions at our Energetics Campus. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in both manufacturing and office environments at geographically separated locations within Luling, Texas. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and ensure a safe and sanitary workspace for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Maintenance:
  
  
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in office and manufacturing areas.
  
  
  • Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and equipment.
  
  
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and kitchen areas.
  
  
  • Empty trash bins and replace liners.
  
  
• Manufacturing Cleaning:
  
  
  • Maintain cleanliness in production areas, including machinery and workstations once the manufacturing campus is completed.
  
  
  • Remove debris and ensure proper disposal of waste materials.
  
  
• Stock and Supplies:
  
  
  • Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed.
  
  
  • Report inventory shortages to the supervisor.
  
  
• Safety Compliance:
  
  
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  
  
  • Ensure work areas are free from hazards and obstructions.
  
  
• Other Duties:
  
  
  • Assist with special cleaning projects, such as deep cleaning or seasonal tasks.
  
  
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or tightening fixtures.
  
  
  • Record entries in computer for tracking purposes.
  
  
  • Assist with Groundskeeping activities as needed.
  
  
  • Other associated duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles is a plus.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, floor buffers, and pressure washers.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in manufacturing environments with exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
