Job description

This position is responsible for providing facilities maintenance including all grounds, facilities equipment and the building structure itself. This position provides support for equipment failures, hazardous chemicals spills, and on-call support.Essential Duties:Performs plumbing repairs, electrical repairs/modifications, preventative maintenance including refrigeration system, cooling system, appliances, light fixtures, and doors.Oversees and provides necessary repairs to the building HVAC systemPerforms tasks common to the care of grounds and landscapes; Assist in snow/ice removal from walkwaysDesigns and installs special facility projects when neededMaintains a safe storage environment for hazardous chemicalsPerforms necessary building janitorial dutiesOther duties as assignedEducation/ Experience/Skills:High School Diploma with one (1) to two (2) years of on-the-job experience and/or specialized training and education or equivalentWorking knowledge and capabilities with equipment with multiple logic functions and capabilities requiring specialized training.Solid mechanical skills and abilitiesSolid working knowledge, skills, and abilities of HVAC systemsSolid carpentry and plumbing skills and abilitiesBasic electrical skills and abilitiesSolid working knowledge, skills and abilities of appliances including, dishwashers, microwaves, gas stoves, garbage disposals, toaster ovens and coffee makers.Solid working knowledge of all building codes under pressureAbility to read, analyze and interpret procedures, policies, and regulationsWage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position.
