Our office is located in Falls Church, VA. We have an immediate opening for a Facilities Aide, reporting to the Facilities Director. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine building maintenance, including drywall patching, painting, wall touch-ups, hanging pictures/whiteboards/bulletin boards, carpet spot cleaning, caulking, ceiling tile replacement, light bulb installation, ballast changes, and basic plumbing (drain cleaning, faucet/toilet replacement).
  2. Manage stock rooms, receive shipments, stock shelves, rotate stock, and maintain the cleanliness of office spaces.
  3. Maintain office spaces through carpet spot cleaning and wall painting as needed.
  4. Assemble and distribute furniture for office setups.
  5. Provide maintenance and repair services as required.
  6. Assist with government property inventory processes.
  7. Support the implementation and monitoring of safety procedures.
  8. Report to the Facilities Director and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of experience preferred
  • U.S. citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain or hold a Top-Secret clearance
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Physical ability to lift and move items over 25 pounds
