Job summary

Magic Valley Electric Cooperative in Edinburg, TX seeks a facility maintenance worker to keep buildings and grounds clean, safe, and orderly. You will perform routine and deep cleaning, operate maintenance equipment, and restock areas.

You will also assist with meeting setups, manage supplies, and perform inspections to support safe operations, with occasional after-hours work as needed. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds and travel between sites.

• Follow safety procedures and perform other assigned duties, tasks, and special projects as assigned

Position Summary

Responsible for maintaining the cooperative’s facilities and grounds in a clean, neat, and orderly fashion.

Working Conditions

This position requires working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions while operating assigned maintenance and cleaning equipment. The employee will be required to maintain an active pace per shift, covering significant distances through frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs or ladders. The job involves frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying materials or equipment weighing up to 60 pounds. Ability to travel to and from job sites. May be required to work after hours including weekends and holidays.
