General Summary:
The Facilities & Operations Technician maintains safe, clean, functional, and organized company facilities, grounds, fleet support areas, and warehouse inventory. The position supports multiple departments by completing assigned maintenance and operational work, identifying issues that require specialized attention, and maintaining accurate inventory and supply records. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, dependable, and willing to assist wherever needed to support company operations.
Essential Job Functions:
Facilities Maintenance
- Clean and maintain office buildings, warehouses, garages, and common areas.
- Perform routine custodial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, restroom cleaning, and waste removal.
- Complete minor building maintenance and repairs including painting, changing light fixtures, replacing ceiling tiles, adjusting doors, and other general repairs.
- Monitor building conditions and report maintenance issues requiring specialized repair.
- Assist with office moves, furniture assembly, and facility setup for meetings or company events.
- Maintain janitorial supplies and stock restrooms and kitchen areas; order cleaning supplies and paper products within established purchasing procedures and approved authorization levels.
- Coordinate outside cleaning services as needed in accordance with established vendor selection, approval, and purchasing procedures.
- Contracts outside cleaning services as needed.
- Ensure company facilities present a professional appearance at all times.
Grounds Maintenance
- Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas.
- Operate commercial mowing and landscaping equipment safely.
- Perform seasonal landscaping including planting, mulching, pruning, and leaf removal.
- Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, parking lots, and entrances using company equipment.
- Maintain parking areas, fencing, signage, and outdoor company property.
- Monitor irrigation systems and outdoor lighting.
Inventory & Warehouse Support
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips.
- Organize warehouse inventory and storage locations.
- Stock materials and supplies for field personnel.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using company software.
- Prepare materials and equipment for construction and service crews.
- Assist with equipment tracking and tool accountability.
Operational Support
- Deliver materials and supplies to job sites or company locations.
- Orders and stocksnecessaryoffice supplies (I.e., paper, pens, etc.).
- Orders andstockssnacks and drinks for the breakrooms.
- Operate forklifts, utility vehicles, and other company equipment (training provided as needed).
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to climb a ladder and/or step ladder.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including but not limited to noise, due, and typical maintenance or construction environments.
- Requires working in office buildings, warehouses, outdoor company properties, construction support environments, and company vehicles.

- Operate power tools, lawn equipment, forklifts, and company vehicles.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.

- Demonstrates dependability through good attendance and adherence to timeliness and schedule.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent plus one to three years specialized training in automotive mechanics and electronics. Previous facilities maintenance experience preferred.
Salary Range: $45,000.00
