Facilities Project Engineer Responsibilities

• Daily check in on construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Provide input on budgets, cost estimates, and project financials.
• Work with Department Manager to maintain project schedules with adherence to facility requirements.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Coordinate with TRUMPF employees, management, contractors, and facility representatives to minimize disruption to operations.
• Provide accurate project reporting, forecasting, and progress updates.
• Provide support for project teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Responsible for MaintainX Daily maintenance tasks
• Perform hands‑on maintenance tasks as needed to ensure on‑time delivery and operational continuity.
• Maintain availability for on‑call support to address urgent maintenance needs and minimize downtime.

Required Skills

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field is of benefit
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects in active production environments
