Job description

General Summary

This position is responsible for maintaining Club building operations as directed and for providing the highest level of service to the members. All associates are responsible for providing exceptional customer service and hospitality to all members and guests and consistently demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.

Primary Job Functions
  • Learn and apply the company's standard operating procedures.
  • Preventive maintenance responsibility of the building such as pool vacuuming and testing/adjusting pool water chemicals, plumbing, light electrical and painting.
  • Restock supplies, replenish inventory and products.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Greet members and guests throughout the property.
  • Understand and anticipate the needs of the property.
  • Be attentive and listen carefully to the member’s and follow through.
  • Follow up as required and communicate in a timely manner.
  • Be an active participant in events, programs, meetings and training.
  • Represent the club in a professional manner through image, dress, communication, and immediate follow through and response.
  • Schedule varies and may require weekend and holiday hours, days and evenings.
Qualifications

Skills & Knowledge: Ability to read/understand, analyze, and interpret general training manuals, professional journals, or technical procedures; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from children, managers, Associates, members, and the general public. Ability to identify problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Experience
  • Minimum three (3) years of building operations experience
  • Professional, friendly manner and excellent customer service attitude and abilities

  • Enthusiastic, responsible, and dependable team player

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to sit, stand, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. The Associate is occasionally required to walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and taste or smell. The Associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
