Job summary

Drive Shack is seeking a Facilities Technician to maintain venue functionality, safety, and appearance. You will support both technical and general upkeep of the property, ensuring systems run efficiently for a safe guest experience.

You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot technology equipment, and assist with setup while adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies. Evening and weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of facilities maintenance or related repair experience.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Proficient with computers and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks as directed by the Facilities Manager or Supervisor.
• Maintain the condition and functionality of entertainment, gaming, and event spaces.
• Conduct minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, and general facility systems.
• Inspect and maintain building grounds, lawns, and sprinkler systems.
• Maintain proper inventory levels of tools, supplies, and replacement parts.
• Troubleshoot, install, and repair technology equipment including PCs, servers, printers, and AV systems.
• Assist with software/hardware setup and ensure smooth operation of connected systems.
• Uphold all safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with managers, staff, and guests regarding maintenance needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Working Conditions

• Active, hands-on role requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor environments, including heat, cold, and inclement weather
• Requires use of tools, ladders, and light machinery in compliance with safety protocols
• Occasional exposure to loud noises or confined spaces depending on maintenance task
• Evening, weekend, and holiday shifts required to support venue operations and events
