Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, ID is seeking a Facilities Technology Transfer Engineer to join our engineering team. Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Data Science, Engineering, Semiconductor, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience with facilities engineering.
• Proven experience in facilities engineering and/or technology transfer.
• Sophisticated PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel, PPT, SAP, Autodesk and coding programs.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute technology transfer plans, ensuring successful integration of new facilities technologies and processes.
• Partner with Facilities, Industrial, and Planning Engineers to develop tool utility databases, templates, and utility matrices that support technology transfer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize facility systems, enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve transfer execution.
• Monitor, analyze, and communicate key program metrics to support informed decision-making.
• Develop and maintain systems, tools, and applications that improve communication, data collection, reporting, and information sharing throughout the transfer process.
• Provide engineering support to identify and resolve technical challenges, ensure safety, and maintain compliance with EH&S and quality standards.
• Partner with Technology Development and High-Volume Manufacturing teams to assess process changes and support future technology introductions.
