Job summary

Georgia Power seeks a Facilities Technology & Space Planning Manager to lead the technology roadmap for facilities across the organization, ensuring ARCHIBUS and related platforms integrate with business processes and reporting dashboards provide data-driven insights.

The role oversees space planning governance, AV systems, and continuous improvement initiatives, reporting to the Facilities Director with occasional travel to company locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in various Southern Company business units preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of formal leadership experience.
• Understanding of AV systems and technology integration.
• Understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements (asset transfers, accounting procedures, etc.)
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Technology Strategy & Governance: Develop and oversee the Facilities technology Roadmap.
• Lead business readiness and change management for the Facilities Technology Roadmap.
• Establish technology standards, governance, data management, and system administration procedures.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and best practices to support digital transformation.
• Lead long-term planning for Facilities technology investments and improvements.
• Space Planning and Governance Oversight: Develop and implement space planning strategies aligned with company goals.
• Oversee AV systems design, installation, maintenance, and training.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement across space planning, design, and facilities management.
