Job summary

JLL in Red Oak, Iowa seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep building systems running smoothly and efficiently. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections to support occupant comfort and safety.

You will use CMMS (WebTMA) to update work orders, follow safety procedures, and coordinate with team and clients in a fast-paced facilities management environment. On-site role requiring physical readiness and reliability.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in general building repair and maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing systems.
• Knowledge of basic electrical systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work from heights up to 15 ft.
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
• Completion of safety training programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other building systems and equipment.
• Replace lighting fixtures and ballasts throughout the facility as needed.
• Conduct regular facility inspections and provide detailed reports on conditions that may affect client occupancy and operations.
• Update work orders in CMMS (WebTMA) and escalate issues to customers and managers promptly.
• Follow all safety procedures, maintain clean and safe work areas, and identify potential safety hazards with proposed solutions.
• Handle safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials in compliance with all applicable policies.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate work activities and address facility needs.
