JLL in San Jose, CA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to operate, maintain, and optimize building systems for our client portfolio. You will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable performance of HVAC, plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems while delivering high-quality service.

The role involves preventive maintenance, inspections, work-order management, vendor coordination, and occasional on-call duties after hours or weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Technician in CRE or facilities management.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read manuals and diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and tenant interaction.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license.
• On-site work in San Jose, CA.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions.
• Receive and prioritize work orders and log tasks.
• Inspect mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Coordinate external contractors and vendors.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
