This full-time position covers general building maintenance, preventative and corrective work, and on-call responsiveness to ensure healthcare operations run smoothly. Qualified candidates have a High School diploma (electrical certification preferred) and 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent
Electrical certification or license preferred; equivalent commercial electrical experience will be considered.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on facilities or building maintenance experience
Broad working knowledge of general maintenance trades (no special licensing required)
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English with sufficient fluency to perform duties and communicate safety concerns
Strong troubleshooting and critical-thinking skills
Valid Florida driver's license
Willingness to work occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed

Responsibilities

Perform general building maintenance including painting, drywall repair, lighting, plumbing, flooring, and minor mechanical work
Complete preventative and corrective maintenance on facility equipment and systems
Troubleshoot issues independently and make sound repair decisions
Prioritize daily work orders and respond to service requests with urgency
Document completed work accurately in the maintenance system
Serve as part of the on-call rotation when required
Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety procedures
