Job summary

Horizon Health and Wellness, Inc. in Apache Junction, AZ is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to keep facilities clean, safe, and functional.

You will perform routine and preventive maintenance on buildings, grounds, and equipment to support a secure environment for staff and visitors. The role requires a HS diploma or GED with maintenance experience, a valid AZ driver’s license, and ability to perform electrical, plumbing, and carpentry tasks.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with 4 years maintenance or construction experience; AZ driver’s license with clean driving record and be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess reliable transportation.
• Ability to maintain landscaping.
• Ability to perform general electrical and plumping work.
• Ability to maintain inventory and MSDS sheets of custodial supplies.
• Ability to operate basic shop tools and equipment.
• Ability to make minor repairs to basic shop tools and equipment.
• Ability to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
• Possess knowledge of general carpentry and state and city codes.
• Willingness to work evenings and weekend’s on-call.
• Must obtain and maintain a AZ level 1 fingerprint clearance and pass a background check.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facilities and equipment.
• Respond to repair requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure all areas of the facility meet cleanliness and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other mechanical systems as needed.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs are required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with agency policies and regulations.
