Chart Industries is seeking a Facilities Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of building systems, perform routine inspections, and maintain HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems. You will work with skilled professionals to keep equipment and facilities in peak condition and support various site operations.

The role involves independent work, group problem solving, and adapting to a fast-paced environment while prioritizing safety and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs buildings: electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, landscaping, painting, cleaning, appliances, utilities, fencing/gates, and fire systems.
• Collaborating with specialized contractors or technicians for complex repairs when necessary.
• Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts in machines and equipment used within the Facility department.
• Performing routine inspections of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and structural systems to identify potential issues and prevent malfunctions.
• Conducting preventive maintenance such as changing filters, repairing leaks, replacing light bulbs, and servicing equipment.
