Job summary

Chart Industries, Inc. is seeking field-ready personnel for light manufacturing tasks in Canton, GA. Responsibilities include pipe de-pressurization, prep for crating, labeling, inspection, and documentation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• De-pressurize and wipe down pipe.
• Prep pipe for crating and shipping using blueprints.
• Perform manual tasks with basic hand tools, including electric and air tools.
• Install labels on tanks and provide final inspection for defects.
• Complete required documentation on all work performed.
• Adhere to safety and quality procedures and maintain a clean work area.

What Will You Do?

• De-pressurize and wipe down pipe


• Using blueprints, prep pipe for crating and shipping


• Perform manual tasks using basic hand tools, including electric and air tools


• Install labels onto tank and provide final inspection looking for defects


• May be required to take measurements and read BOMs and drawings


• Complete required documentation on all work performed


• Understand and adheres to established safety and quality procedures


• Maintain a clean work area and practices general acceptable housekeeping standards


• Perform all tasks to ISO standards and requirements


• Perform other duties as assigned.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. Moderate noise level in the work environment.
