Job summary

Pillar Construction Company, LLC is seeking an experienced HVAC Facilities Maintenance Technician to own maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical building systems across our facility. You will work hands-on with HVAC equipment, including Trane systems, and support general facility maintenance to keep operations safe and efficient.

The role emphasizes diagnosing complex issues, performing repairs, and maintaining thorough service records.

Qualifications

Experience as an HVAC Service Technician is required.
Strong hands-on experience servicing and troubleshooting HVAC systems.
Working knowledge of Trane HVAC units and equipment.
Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
Capable of preventive maintenance and inspections.
Proficient with hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations on HVAC systems and related equipment.
Diagnose failures and determine appropriate repairs.
Service and maintain Trane HVAC equipment and other facility systems.
Conduct routine inspections to prevent downtime.
Read schematics and technical docs to troubleshoot equipment.
Provide hands-on field service across the facility.
Maintain records of inspections and repairs.
Assist with general maintenance and repairs beyond HVAC when needed.
Maintain a safe, organized work environment following procedures.
