Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a large, high-tech robotics facility in Palo Alto, CA. Swing shift available after training; contract-to-hire with long-term opportunity.

The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting and general building maintenance to keep a cutting-edge campus running smoothly. You will respond to work orders, service doors, plumbing, lights, HVAC, drywall and painting, and travel between buildings as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial facilities maintenance experience
• Experience in commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or large campus environments
• Experience with plumbing repairs, basic electrical work, lighting maintenance, HVAC preventive maintenance, painting and drywall repair, minor carpentry
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete maintenance work orders across the facility
• Repair doors, locks, hardware, and access systems
• Troubleshoot and repair sinks, toilets, faucets, leaks, and clogs
• Replace light fixtures and perform basic electrical troubleshooting
• Handle general plumbing repairs and maintenance
• Perform basic HVAC preventive maintenance
• Patch drywall, paint, and complete minor carpentry projects
• Conduct preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems
• Order parts and supplies as needed
• Travel between buildings to support multiple sites
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment
