Job summary

Advanced Technology Services in Palo Alto, CA is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician for a cutting-edge robotics facility. You’ll handle plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance to keep a modern technology workplace running smoothly.

You’ll respond to work orders, repair doors and access systems, perform preventive maintenance, and support day-to-day operations across large office and lab spaces.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience in large campus environments (commercial/industrial)
• Strong troubleshooting across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete maintenance work orders across the facility.
• Repair doors, locks, hardware, and access systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair sinks, toilets, faucets, leaks, and clogs.
• Replace light fixtures and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Handle general plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Perform basic HVAC preventive maintenance and system checks.
• Patch drywall, paint, and complete minor carpentry projects.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Order parts and supplies as needed.
