Job summary

Advanced Technology Services is seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician to support a high-tech robotics facility in Palo Alto, CA. Swing shift available after training, with a contract-to-hire path and a focus on keeping a cutting-edge environment running smoothly.

The role covers plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general building maintenance across large office and lab spaces. Strong troubleshooting, independence, and customer service are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience in commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or large campus environments.
• Strong troubleshooting across multiple trades.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete maintenance work orders across the facility.
• Repair doors, locks, hardware, and access systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair sinks, toilets, faucets, leaks, and clogs.
• Replace light fixtures and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Handle general plumbing repairs and maintenance.
• Perform basic HVAC preventive maintenance, including filter changes and system checks.
• Patch drywall, paint, and complete minor carpentry projects.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on facility equipment and systems.
• Order parts and supplies as needed.
• Travel throughout large facilities using a golf cart to support multiple buildings.
• Prioritize and complete work orders efficiently.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional environment.
