Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and operation of our campus. You will perform routine tasks across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, ensuring spaces are safe, functional, and prepared for daily activities.

You’ll coordinate with janitorial staff, handle site improvements, operate lifts and forklifts, and document work using our ticket system. The role requires a high school diploma and 2+ years of facilities experience, plus a commitment to safety

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
Ability to read instructions and blueprints.
Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform routine building maintenance across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
Conduct site-wide maintenance including painting, patching walls, and flooring work.
Inspect and repair interior/exterior areas, fixtures, roofing and lighting.
Assist janitorial and hospitality staff with general requests and event setup.
Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts when needed.
Open, track, and resolve electronic work tickets on SpaceX’s system.
Adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
