Job summary

SpaceX is a leading aerospace company looking for a Facilities Technician (MEP) to install, maintain, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across office environments at Starbase. You will ensure reliable HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, and plumbing to support a safe, functional workplace.

The role requires 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and willingness to travel to SpaceX locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical basics.
• Ability to read instructions and blueprints.
• Self-motivated and able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC requests.
• Maintain facilities including painting, patching walls, and flooring.
• Inspect and repair interior and exterior areas, fixtures, roofing, lighting.
• Assist with setup for events and coordinate with staff.
• Open, track, and resolve work tickets in the SpaceX system.
• Adhere to safety guidelines at all times.
• Operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts when needed.
