Job summary

Think Consulting seeks a Level V Facilities Engineer to operate and maintain critical building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, while coordinating with contractors to ensure reliability. You will monitor the Building Automation System and oversee shift changes, reporting status and issues to management.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years of experience, an MD Grade 1 Stationary Engineer license, and the ability to work the first shift with weekend on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• High school or technical training with 15 years of systems operation and maintenance experience.
• MD Grade 1 Stationary Engineer license required.
• First Shift 6am–2pm; on-call weekends; leadership responsibilities for engineering staff.

Responsibilities

• Monitors operating systems and equipment including HVAC, UPS and switchgear; reads gauges and monitors Building Automation System.
• Cleans and adjusts HVAC components; performs startup/shutdown of equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance throughout the building.
• Coordinate with service contractors for electrical, mechanical, and other building components.
• Monitor and report on building system performance; communicate issues to shift engineer on changeover.
• Mentor junior staff and provide instruction; ensure turnover of issues during shift changes.
