Lamoille County Mental Health Services is seeking a dependable Facility Support Staff member to keep our facility clean, safe, and well-maintained in Morristown, Vermont. The role includes janitorial duties, basic groundskeeping, and light maintenance to ensure smooth operation and a welcoming appearance.

The starting pay is negotiable based on education, relevant experience, and applicable licensure or certifications, with opportunities to grow as you contribute to daily operations and upkeep

Qualifications

• Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks.
• Lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform general custodial duties such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
• Empty trash cans and recycling.
• Change lightbulbs or installing shelves.
• Maintain grounds such as shovel snow or garden maintenance.
• Assist with upkeep of appearances such as painting walls.
• Assist with porter duties, such as moving furniture or equipment.
• Perform minor repairs such as fixing desks.
