Job summary

NexTech Solutions LLC is seeking a Facilities Support Specialist to perform hands-on custodial, maintenance, and logistical tasks. You will execute daily cleaning routines, inspect spaces, and restock supplies to keep the office clean, organized, and safe for employees and visitors.

In this role you will assist with meeting setup, arrange furniture, support basic repairs, and coordinate deliveries, while upholding company standards of excellence and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial or facilities support preferred.
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules with accuracy.
• Good communication and safety awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily cleaning, maintenance, and custodial tasks to maintain a safe and professional facility environment.
• Inspect all facility rooms, restrooms, and shared spaces daily to ensure cleanliness, organization, and removal of trash.
• Maintain restrooms and break areas, including monitoring and restocking consumable supplies.
• Conduct scheduled deep-cleaning activities, including mopping, dusting, cleaning appliances, and sanitizing shared surfaces.
• Maintain janitorial supply inventories, track usage, and identify reorder requirements for leadership approval.
• Receive, restock, and organize supply deliveries in coordination with Facility department management.
• Assist with meeting, conference, and event setup and breakdown.
• Assemble, relocate, and configure office furniture and equipment as directed.
• Support basic facility repairs such as painting, patching, replacing light bulbs, and moving equipment.
• Provide escort duties for uncleared personnel in restricted or controlled areas as required.
• Assist with shipping, receiving, packaging, and internal delivery of supplies, equipment, and materials, ensuring items are handled safely and delivered accurately.
• Provide professional customer service support to employees and visitors.
• Maintain compliance with company safety, cleanliness, security, and operational procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Facilities Manager or Senior Facilities Technician.
