Job summary

Vail Health, a premier mountain healthcare system, seeks a Facilities Supervisor to lead the team of Technicians and Specialists. You will mentor staff, manage maintenance and safety programs, and coordinate projects across the hospital system.

Ideal candidates have 3 years in technical maintenance with building automation, and healthcare experience is preferred. The role supports construction collaboration and strict adherence to SOPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• 3 years of technical maintenance and building automation system experience required.
• Healthcare experience preferred.
• Experience managing a maintenance team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the team, including onboarding, training reviews, performance management, delegating Facility Department job assignments, and maintaining a positive work environment.
• Utilize HVAC and MEP expertise to advise Facilities on maintenance and repair needs.
• Mentor technicians and manage ongoing training and growth opportunities.
• Oversee preventative and corrective maintenance and emergency management needs for the organization.
• Identify, track, and quote facility capital and repair projects.
• Supervise Team Lead Facilities Technicians in review of tasks and ensure proper utilization.
