Job summary

The Judicial Council of California is seeking a Facilities Supervisor within the Facilities Services office to oversee the Plans, Permits, Inspections team and ensure compliance with applicable codes. The role includes developing procedures, training staff, and coordinating with external agencies on project approvals.

The position also involves managing consultants and inspectors, allocating resources for capital projects, and guiding facility modifications while supporting public service goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, or construction management with 5 years of PM or facilities management experience, including 1 year supervisory.
• Master’s degree with 2 years of related experience and 1 year supervisory.
• One year as Senior Facilities Analyst or three years as Facilities Analyst with supervisory training within 6 months or similar

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day functions of the Plans, Permits, Inspections team.
• Develop and maintain plan review, permit and inspection procedures; train staff; allocate resources.
• Coordinate with OSFM, DSA, BSCC and AHJs based on project scope and approvals.
• Provide oversight of consultant plan reviewers, inspection firms and laboratories.
