Job summary

The Judicial Council of California is seeking an Engineering Specialist to support facilities services with technical facility and construction engineering tasks in San Francisco or Sacramento. The role involves inspections, plan reviews, and ensuring fire and life safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has a related degree and substantial experience, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, CAFM platforms, and report writing. Hybrid work is available, with in-office expectations two days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; four years of professional experience may substitute.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with CAFM or similar web-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical facility and construction engineering support, including inspections and plan reviews.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, rules, and regulations.
• Provide technical direction in assigned area of expertise.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal clients and external regulatory agencies.
