Job summary

Virgin Galactic in New Mexico seeks a Facilities Supervisor to lead the core trades crew across Gateway to Space at Spaceport America and three Las Cruces facilities. You will supervise the Facilities Lead and coordinate electricians and technicians to uphold safety, compliance, and site upkeep NM-wide.

You will manage CMMS records, use MS Office daily, and drive preventive maintenance, audits, and safety initiatives. Strong leadership and 4+ years in facilities required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in facilities, maintenance, or building operations with 1–2 years in a lead/supervisory role.
• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and building systems to direct technicians and evaluate work quality.
• Proficiency with MS Office and ability to learn CMMS or similar work-order software.
• Strong verbal and written communication; comfortable presenting updates in meetings.
• Can-do attitude; proactive and hands-on when needed.
• Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple sites and teams.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise the Facilities Lead and prioritize work for Electrician and Technician; balance preventive maintenance, work orders, and repairs across GTS and Las Cruces sites.
• Ensure work by the Lead is completed to standard at all sites, not only the primary location.
• Coach, train, and evaluate crew members; onboard new hires and cross-train across electrical and facilities skills.
• Visit Las Cruces facilities regularly to verify conditions and prevent site neglect at any location.
• Maintain thorough CMMS records with status, notes, parts used, and time tracking.
• Produce regular written and verbal updates for the Technical Facilities Manager and Facilities Director.
