Job summary

Fraser Ventures is seeking an experienced Facilities Supervisor to ensure all properties are maintained safely, professionally, and proactively. You will lead the maintenance team, oversee property conditions, and coordinate external contractors while personally handling smaller carpentry tasks.

The role requires travel between metro Detroit properties, with company vehicles provided. A strong background in carpentry and facilities management, plus excellent communication, is essential to

Qualifications

• At least 5 years guiding maintenance and carpentry within facilities management.
• Proven ability to supervise maintenance staff and coordinate vendors.
• Solid understanding of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and safety systems.
• Strong communication with leaders, vendors, and tenants.
• Proactive problem solving and attention to safety and code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance staff and coordinate contractors across Fraser Ventures properties.
• Perform routine property inspections and identify safety or code issues.
• Oversee carpentry tasks, door/windows, fixtures, and general repairs.
• Obtain estimates, review bids, and ensure competitive pricing.
• Help develop facilities policies, checklists, and preventive standards.
