Job summary

Auburn University is seeking a Facilities Student Assistant to help with inspection and maintenance projects in residence halls. You will support management in planning, prepping, and inventory tasks to ensure facilities meet Auburn Property Management standards.

The role is designed for a current student, offering hands-on experience in facilities operations, teamwork with a diverse staff, and opportunities to develop leadership, problem-solving and organization skills while on campus.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled student at Auburn University.
• Able to commit to scheduled working hours.
• Strong time management and professionalism.
• Good communication with diverse group of customers and staff.
• Able to lift heavy objects and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Residence Hall Inspections and general housing maintenance.
• Operate equipment with small engines/motors such as power washers, carpet cleaners, and other power tools.
• Assist with maintenance, including inspecting furniture, moving furniture, repairing furniture, replacing damaged appliances, and other duties to prepare rooms.
