Job summary

Job description

Waynflete School has an immediate need for a Facilities Staff member. This is a year-round, full-time position offering a competitive wage and a benefits package that includes health, dental, life and disability insurance, retirement plan matching, 3 weeks vacation, 12 sick days, 2 personal days and 14 paid holidays. The preferred work schedule is Monday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm with occasional weekends and overtime required. Daily hours may be able to be adjusted.

Duties

Performing minor repairs, assessing electrical, plumbing and heating needs, carpentry projects, event set‑up and clean‑up, interior/exterior painting, landscaping, snow removal, and assisting with general maintenance as requested.

Qualifications

Applicants should enjoy working in a student‑centered, fast‑paced environment which includes a number of constituencies. A positive, team‑oriented demeanor is essential. Previous experience in the maintenance field and working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and heating required; carpentry skills are a plus. Must hold a current driver’s license in good standing.

Physical Demands

Frequent walking, use of hands, reaching, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and lifting of up to 75 lbs.
