Resources for Human Development (RHD) is seeking a skilled Facilities Specialist to oversee maintenance, repairs, and facility operations at multiple RHD locations in Connecticut. The role focuses on keeping buildings safe, functional, and compliant while supporting staff, participants, and visitors.

You will perform preventive maintenance, manage vendor coordination, and contribute to safety programs. Strong troubleshooting skills, independence, and hands-on abilities are essential for success

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of facilities maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned responsibilities.
• Valid Driver's License and travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance & Repairs: maintain assigned facilities and perform routine and emergency repairs.
• HVAC, Electrical & Mechanical Systems: perform troubleshooting and repairs.
• Vendor & Contractor Coordination: coordinate parts, services, and inspections.
• Safety & Compliance: ensure OSHA and safety requirements are met.
• Documentation & Admin Duties: track requests and update maintenance records.
